Greetings parents and family and friends of Troop 1805...
We are having a blast here at the Jamboree. We arrived safely on Monday morning and set up camp. And boy have we been busy since then!
Tuesday saw a chance to explore all that the Jamboree had to offer. We rappelled, rock-climbed, Zip-lined, water-slid, shotgunned and a host of other things. Other than the heat, we are having a great time.
This morning, we had the chance to go to the opening show in the big arena and it was fantastic! The show brought speeches from the Chief Scout, Bob Mazucca, and a special guest, Robert Gates, Secretary of Defense speak with us! If that wasn't enough, Sergeant Slaughter from the WWE and MISS AMERICA addressed the excited crowd of almost 50,000...
We have one more week and we can't wait!
